Union Station Alliance

Proximity Green provided financial consulting services to the Union Station Alliance team in the fall of 2012, then comprised of Larimer Associates, City Street Investors, Sage Hospitality Group, Urban Neighborhoods, and Belz & Associates, as the group had recently been awarded the redevelopment rights to the Denver Union Station building in downtown Denver. The work effort involved financial modeling and combining multiple business models together for both development and operations, including the planned Crawford Hotel, retail activity, event space, and sequencing the numerous capital sources including funding from RTD, equity investors, tax credits and project loans. The final work product assisted in the selection of their major equity investor in the deal, McWhinney.
